750 ml bottle. Golden colour and a slight haze. Very tall white head with tig bubbles. Crisp hop aroma much like other tripels. Dry and citrusy. Potent alcohol, but quite smooth. Light malty flavours, but quite thin. Not my favourite.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with a huge lacing white head. Spicy and yeasty aroma, hinting of coriander. Sweetish flavour, quite spicy, well-balanced.

75cl bottle. Imagine my surprise when I attended a Cross Channel Seminar for work and found that the buffet lunch afterwards was to be washed down with either English wine or French/Belgian beers. Good range of French Biere de Garde, but it was this one that caught my eye. So there I was at the Lees Cliff Hall in Folkestone overlooking the Channel and drinking good beer. Deep gold colour with a lasting off white head. Bready yeasty aroma (according to my boss) with typical Belgian yeast aroma. Reasonable fullness in the mouth, some spiciness, goodish carbonation. Dryish finish. I liked it. Alcohol is quite warming and prevalent. Good strong Belgian Ale.

Bottle. Flowery aroma (chamomile and roses). Light copper in color with small but tight off-white head with. Flavor is more caramelly and hoppy than fruity and has a great deal of aftertaste from hops providing a nice bitterness. A good deal of acid can be found in the flavor too (from the yeast - not from an infection). Warming alcohol in the finish. A bit too hot but otherwise enjoyable,

750ml corked bottle. Underwhelming misty amber ale with a sniff of gently spicy fruit and some woodsmoky malt. Quite a nasty cardboardy background. Lingeringly bitter afters with a warming boozy afterburn. Creamily smooth but head vanishing too quickly. Cat sniffed it and leapt off the sofa like he’d been electrocuted. A harsh assessment, but a very ordinary strong ale.

Draught at Eulogy in Philadelphia and billed as a "Eulogy Exclusive". Poured nearly flat and filmy in a goblet. Clear and bright golden body with mild visible carbonation. Spicy nose with a lightly grainy malt edge and some banana esters. Medium sweet banana flavors with emergent bitterness. Slightly underattenuated with a light syrupy quality on the palate. Fair.
