2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Jimthechap (1195) - Christchurch, - MAY 28, 2012Clear, sparkling and golden with a good two fingers of head on top. There’s an immediate aroma of astringency, but upon sticking the nose into the glass it becomes a little funky along with stale cheese. I write that but it isn’t nearly as pejorative as it sounds. The cheese has been left out for a little too long and has started to sweat and go hard. There’s also some citrus peel aroma. I’m undecided whether I like that aroma or not.
In the mouth there is prickly mouthfeel and then sour juiciness. The sourness is the lengthy dominant flavour here. Again, undecided whether I like this or not.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Silvan7 (126) - Samarate, ITALY - APR 10, 2013
