Medium mouthfeel. Flavors of dark fruit, citrus (primarily orange), yeast, and some malt. Finish is a bit alcoholic with a slight hop bite.
Russo (550), Campinas, Brazil Dec 26, 2008 Bottled. Golde color with a nice and persistent white head. Aroma is citrus and sweety, some orange notes. Flavor is like the aroma, medium carbonation. Yeasty aroma mixed with sweet fruity male and some orange zest. Flavor is solid Belgian, mildy fruity and sweet. A touch of peppery spice way in the back. Lightly tangy. Very good. Lots of good carbonation bubbles, thick lace gets drippy. Nose is yeasty and a bit dusty, coriander and light citrus. Mildly fruity flavors, orange and pineapple, lightly spiced. Warming alcoholic aroma, lotsa sweet pear and some maltiness. Sickly alcoholic flavor, glue, some more booze, artificial fruitiness and tangy hops. Medium bodied, bland mouhtfeel. A terrible, boozy strong golden, it gives me the chills.
