| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2009 A fine attempt to bring some palate into bitterness. Malts on background give fine foundation and at same time provides the space needed to this exercise in hop tones painting. Great beer. Allen (1437), Switzerland

Beautiful clear amber with a lacing off-white head. Nice balance between malt and hops in the nose. Good malt profile. Nice bitterness. Figs, homemade caramel, candied apricot and earthy hops appearing in both aroma and taste. Liquorice allsorts sneaking in. Peppery. Long dry finish which is reminiscent of nasturcium and liquorice. I really enjoyed this beer- lovely. Quinten (974), zaandam, Netherlands

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 17, 2008 Medium, light-amber head over bright, but pale foxy-amber beer. Caramel, bit of parsley, old velvet sofas. And what about the hops? Taste – ah. Here’s the hop – but still rather faint. Grassy, herbal and parsley; lots of caramel. Rather good balance. Well-carbonated, spritzy. Not very well-bodied, ends a bit sticky. Interesting, but neither great, neither very “IPA” as I see it. Magicdave6 (5560), London, Greater London, England
