33cl draught. Nice foam with rings on the glass, you can feel only fruit especially tropical. Just at the end of the beer can taste some malt and hop and smoke. Very pricy.

(Draught at Eetcafé de Poort, Utrecht, 26 Feb 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of tropical fruit, grainy malt and canned peaches. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, canned peaches, candy sugar and a gentle grassy, spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Not very complex, but tasty and quite warming. Quite nice.

Nice warm winter beer. Nice clear color. The foam disappeared quite quick. The bouquet was nice and somewhat fruity.

Mooi blonde kleur met een flinke witte schuimkraag. Bier smaakt zeer fruitig en het bouquette is zoet. Zeer zacht en lekker bier.

Nice opener for the Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival at De Kleine Deugniet in Alkmaar. Malty and fruity, a bit like a triple actually. Quite high in alcohol. Classic, but not exciting.

Sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2014, Essen.
Klares goldenes Bier mit geringer weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, getreidig, fruchtig, Honig, Gewürze. Geschmack sehr malzig fruchtig, würzig, Honig, leicht alkoholisch.

At some bar in Amsterdam as Brigand Winter: Pours slightly cloudy orange with white head. Aroma is lightly fruity and somewhat yeasty. There is no alcohol burn. Taste is a bit sweet. Body is somewhere in the range of medium. Not bad.

Tap at In de Wildeman as Brigand Winter. Pretty clear gold pour with thick rocky Belgian head. Aroma is spicy, cloves, belgian yeast, light banana fruitiness. Taste is also spicy, not too sweet, light fruitiness, enjoyable warming alcohol finish. Palate is med-dry, good strong carbonation. Classic, decent Belgian beer.

Draft at In De Wildeman as Brigand Winter. Pours clear golden with a big off white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and fruit. Flavour is over moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter. Big citrus coming out in the palate. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

On tap, 250 ml glass as Winter Brigand, at cafe Moortgat, Arnhem. Cler body, bright golden orange colour on it. Steady white foam, thick, one finger in size. Good retention. Light lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, malts, peaches. Taste is light fruity with peaches, quite sweet and malty, the alcohol very obvious and notable, some yeast too. Mild bitterness on the aftertaste with average duration. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Overall quite good, i would have enjoyed more at home I believe where I could sip it slower.
