Rastacouere (5421), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 20, 2007 A dark brown to reddish coloured lager wearing a healthy head. Like the other house brews, a little tartness shows up in the nose, hinting at apples, but covered in caramelly earthiness. Quite balanced sweetness level, with the usual Austrian dunkel iced tea flavours. Light-medium body, full-on carbonation. Not the most focused toastiness and lacking in drinkability for its acidity, but a decent example in line with the other brewery’s offerings. spporras (260), Finland May 28, 2007 (Draught at the brewpub) Roasted malty and caramel aroma. Dark red brown colour and large, light brownish head with good lacing. Strongly roasted malty, slightly caramel flavour with a hint of licorice. Creamy, softly carbonated and medium-bodied palate. Basic dunkles – nothing special! 18/05/07 Gazza (720), Worcester, Worcestershire, England Apr 27, 2004 Deep brown, caramelly, with a sweetish malt body and some toasty dryness in the aftertaste. Fairly tasty and interesting brew. (Draught at Brigittabräu, Wien) omhper (11027), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 19, 2004 Sampled draught at the brewpub.
Very dark brown. Light bodied with neutral flavour and clean, fairly hard mouthfeel. Low hop rate.
