Draught at the Beer Box. Pretty orange-amber color with a rocky, milkshake head. Nose of cocoa, light nuts, earthy hops. Nice chocolate and nutty sweetness with a bit of fruity tang, earthy hops with a bit of citrus. Good cleansing bitterness. Good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at the Watering Hole. Cloudy chocolate brown, small creamy off white head. Aroma is not so strong, but pleasant enough. Light chocolate, roasty malt. Taste is very biscuity, bit of milky chocolate too. In fact a chocolate biscuit I guess. Touch of spike in there too. Gingery maybe, slightly bitter finish. Silky smooth in the mouth. Brimmer beers seem to get better the more I have,

Solid sprucey pine nose with some dark malts in the rear. Thinnish body, quite drinkable with chocolate malt and a decent citrus/pine finish. As with most Brimmer’s, it’s well made, but not terribly exciting.
