Deserves attention. imdownthepub (4310), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England May 9, 2008 Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Gold with white head. Good dry golden ale with plenty of zesty notes, quite gingery in flavour almost spicy. Lemony and with distinct citrus notes and a bitter finish, a good accomplished beer. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is very nectary, wooden and fruitish hoppy. Very nice. Flavour is the same along with some grassy and rather hayish notes in the finish.
