Green 0.5 litre bottle, best before the end of Nov 2011, poured into two Veltins badged stemmed tulip glasses late Oct 2011.
Looks the archetypal Pilsner, clear, clean and bright: golden and light. On top the usual white top which never really has any staying power and goes before the beer gets to your lips.
The smell is grainy grass and not much else.
A very dry Pilsner, otherwise not much going on.
Crisp, sharp and refreshing, not the No1 Pilsner, just an average one.

At Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund (BVB - Freiburg, 3-0). Poured clear golden colour with white head. Sweet and malty aroma. Hoppy and grassy flavour.

Very light golden yellow, great white head, super light body when cold, effervescent throughout the 50cl. Aroma is pungent hay, little else. Flavor is a little less thick bread like some, this is less sweet, and the sweetness it has is great. Moderate bitterness. Easy to drink. Not the most complex beer on the planet, but easily drinkable in this fresh condition. From Wine of Dreams, bb Feb 2011.

Strong golden color with a good flat, fine-pored head. Also increases very much after CO2 above. Smells like fresh hop aromas!. The beginning part is strange, kind of musty. The aftertaste shows then still very hoppy and bitter. Not really my taste ...

500 ml bottle in Germany. Light yellow color. Characteristic malty, hoppy pilsner aroma. Very dry, almost mouth dryness so, but no great character. The taste and aroma comes over as rather tired and it can’t avoid the earthy cardboard tang on the finish.
