Unclear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, corn, sour, cabage. Flavor is moderate sweet and hay dusty with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081230]

Bottled. A hazy red-amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of Pinball. Pours dark orange, hazy and with a small collapsing white head. Roasted malt and slight yeasty aroma. Sweet malt, vegetable flavoured. Roasted and slight caramelish flavoured. Mild bitter and slight grassy finish.

Bottled. Golden colour medium beige head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, nutty and mildly bready and yeasty. Flavour is caramel malts along with some fruity and yeasty notes.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2007 Bottled. Clear amber, rich head. Bready malt aroma. Medium sweet with light-medium body and pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Notes of coffee and caramel. A well balanced enjoyable unpretentious beer, very German in style.

Sweet aroma of malts and caramel with notes of spices.
Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, grass and hops.

Hazy orange with a large beige head. Aroma was fairly sweet. Flavour had hints of malt and caramel. It finisheds weet.

Light amber colour with some haze. The aroma is lightly toasty. Toasty palate with light caramel and hints of toast. That’s just a lot of toast, far too much.

Bottle. A hazy, golden beer topped by a dense, nice-looking, off-white head leaving lacings. Well, that’s about all the good about this one, the aroma is candy-ish and with a definite sign of infection. The flavor confirms that impression, it has a distinct sourness, as well as a malty sweetness. Thin on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Sourish finish. I’d rather have a bad looking beer tasting good, than this one that looks nice but tastes below mediocre. 100917
