Deliciously fruity, hoppy & refreshing, fantastic summer ale.
A real showcase of the fabulous Soracchi Ace hop, Acer has beautiful aromas of citrus, berries and elderflower, with a very fruity palate and a lovely refreshing citrus aftertaste leaving you wanting more.

Cask at the Magpie, amber-gold with lacy head and a very faint haze, nice crisp herb and citrus hop nose with hints of pineapple and grapefruit, dry-bitter on the palate but with a nice biscuit and faintly melon malt underlay.

On cask at The Stockbridge Tap. Pours a golden colour with a decent white head. Lemon, citrus aroma with caramel, yeast and grass. Similar flavours with an oily mouth-feel and a dry finish.

Golden amber....thin white head...good lacing
Not much on the nose - some caramel malt...Taste of light caramel malts...biscuity malt...bit of grassy citrusy hops.
Palate - soft carb..thin to medium body...pit powdery. Finish - hop bitterness comes through more....grassy straw hops...then a cereal digestive biscuit malt tail...cleans well...quite a complex finish.
Overall - A really nice 2 stage finish - very good for only 3.8% abv.

Nice, clear orange-amber color, off-white head. The nose is fresh and grassy. Grapefruit and other citrus flavors are abundant. The taste is quite buoyant and much hoppier than I was expecting. This is a welcomed new school ale that I’d like to see more of.
