3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with lots of sediment and a large off-white head, which lasts quite well and leaves decent lacing. Spicy Belgian yeast, pine and floral hops and light caramel malt make up the aroma. Pine and floral hops up front blend nicely with spicy yeast. Caramel malt and Belgian sweetness in the mid-palate give way to spice and pine hops and Belgian yeast in the finish. A very nice Belgian IPA.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home from Brewtique, Macclesfield. Poured a murky orange brown gold with a thin to medium almost white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, brown sugar, lemon, orange peel, toffee on a biscuit. Flavour is not as inviting as the aroma for me but pretty good all the same. Enjoyed this, a good beer. I love it when the American’s do a Belgian beer, decent stab by the English.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Yeasty aroma, a spicy touch of hay, underlying fruity hop note with a touch of orange, orange zest, also a minimally soapy touch. Taste is initially dry, bitter hoppy, slightly strawy, caramel malty basis, a touch of orange, later with a peppery spicy yeasty note; bitter, slightly mineral and medicinal finish; once in a time interlaced with the flashing of citrusy hop/lemon notes. Would have liked more fruity flavours.

Very hazy gold - amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is mineraly crisp. Light airy malt. Seltzer. Slighty salty Belgian yeast. Nice marmalade hop cut, bitter orange. The bitter hop and yeast brings things to a crisp finish. Comes together well, enjoyed this.
