Bottle Conditioned; Special. Part of the 2012 "12 Stouts of Christmas" range.
A wonderful blend of berry fruit and liquorice to work alongside the roasted malt flavours from the stout. Dangerously drinkable and a great drink to accompany a range of sweet desserts.

50 cl bottle, BB 14/11/13. Almost black in color, brown head. Blackcurrant quite strong with roasted malt in aroma. Flavor adds licorice, otherwise very similar to aroma. Light to medium bodied. Dry finish with loads os blackcurrant. Nice stout, easy.

Grey-brown with fluffy pale tan and subtle earthy spicy blackcurrants and dusty yeast. Medium carbonation, tart blackcurrant, a touch of spearmint perhaps. A spike of anise like licorice before the dry roast barley kicks in for the long finish. It’s subtle but flavourful.
