3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 imdownthepub (7470) - Banbury, - JAN 23, 2011
Bottled, 500ml at The Pinto Lounge, Banbury. Gold with white head. Initial clean, crisp malt note is followed by a hint of caramel, there is also a touch of marmalade sweetness and orange peel. The real hoppiness doesn’t show through too much, but it is certainly drinkable.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 RichardGretton (3758) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 23, 2012
Bottle. Golden amber beer with a strongish head. The aroma is toffee hopped, and the flavour is toffee and caramel hopped with a bitter finish. Overall a reasonable bitter.
