500 ml bottle drank at Les Vignerons. Light amber, pretty hazym with a big, fluffy and persistent white head. Relatively fresh and pleasent hoppy smell, more citrusy than tropical but with a solid earthy and piney reminiscence. Great drinkability, moderate but clean fruity bitterness. Quite dry and palate cleansing with just a subtle caramel presence in the aftertaste. Average to lively carbonationm light to medium body, creamy texture. Nice!

On tap at Euston Tap, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, metallic notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with metallic notes and a tangy hop content. Balanced decently but not overly thrilling.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 28th April 2015. Good looking deep amber body with enough hops to float a Battleship. I like West Coast style APA’s and this had just enough bitterness to give it that sort of taste, too hoppy for some I’m sure, but it worked for me.

500ml bottle at Inspire Cafe Bar Coventry. Poured a hazy orange to gold colour with white head. Medium carbonation. A hoppy bitter APA with good citrus orange notes, hint of grapefruit in the mix. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle from Saucy Pears. Appearance - amber with a lovely fluffy head. Nose - red fruits and tangy orange. Taste - more tangy orange going into marmalade. Tangy lime finish. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry and tangy finish. Overall - nose a bit gentle but better thereafter.

Bottle from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Amber pour with a white head. Lemon, fresh herb and pine aroma. Bitter citrus feel in the flavour. Long, bitter tang. Tasty.

This was an immensely likeable beer. It appeared hazy orange with a white head. Aromas of fresh grapefruit and orange peel hoppiness. Indeed, it smelled like a bit of toast spread thickly with Seville orange marmalade which was evident in both aroma and flavour. It seemed to be much more bitter than most English ales I have tasted (a good thing in no small measure), it was tart and refreshing and a bit of a treat. I was going to say it was like Thornbridge Jaipur, but it was better than that.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Light amber, a bit unclear, with a medium off white foam. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon and peach, some pine and floral notes. Flavour is well balanced, medium to heavy bitterness, dry and clean, easy to drink, a perfect US pale ale with an english touch (that is, elegance!). Low body, medium carbonation. I could drink it all night!

Cask by hand-pump at Bon Accord, Glasgow - clear amber, thin off-white head, grapefruit and pine aroma, very good lacing, very hoppy with a strong grapefruit flavour, prolonged bitter citrus finish, oily feel, good carbonation

Amber with a large white head that lasts well. Aroma of pineapple, mandarins, lime leaf, grapefruit, pine needles. Medium carbonation, creamy texture. Juicy and fruity but not very sweet. Hay and a mixture tropical and citrus fruit, pine creeps up towards a fairly bitter and dryish finish.
