3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Keg at The Lyric. Clear amber to chestnut brown beer with a large white foam head. Nose is very minerally, pine hop, caramel malt, citrousy, grapefruit. Taste is really flinty and chalky minerals with pine, kind of metallic, and then caramel, malty, citrous, grapefruit. Not really liking the heavy minerals in this. Chalk, flinky and pine kind of killing the other flavours.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle drank at Les Vignerons. Light amber, pretty hazym with a big, fluffy and persistent white head. Relatively fresh and pleasent hoppy smell, more citrusy than tropical but with a solid earthy and piney reminiscence. Great drinkability, moderate but clean fruity bitterness. Quite dry and palate cleansing with just a subtle caramel presence in the aftertaste. Average to lively carbonationm light to medium body, creamy texture. Nice!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Euston Tap, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, metallic notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with metallic notes and a tangy hop content. Balanced decently but not overly thrilling.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hand-pulled half-pint in the Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 28th April 2015. Good looking deep amber body with enough hops to float a Battleship. I like West Coast style APAís and this had just enough bitterness to give it that sort of taste, too hoppy for some Iím sure, but it worked for me.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was an immensely likeable beer. It appeared hazy orange with a white head. Aromas of fresh grapefruit and orange peel hoppiness. Indeed, it smelled like a bit of toast spread thickly with Seville orange marmalade which was evident in both aroma and flavour. It seemed to be much more bitter than most English ales I have tasted (a good thing in no small measure), it was tart and refreshing and a bit of a treat.
I was going to say it was like Thornbridge Jaipur, but it was better than that.
