4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice thick white head. Rich pale amber color in the pour. Bottle conditioned, so remember to leave about 10ml at the bottom unless you like that sort of thing.
First nose is full of passion fruit and citrus. Subsequently wears a piney badge with chest out pride. Hints of malted grains that form the base for this wonderful ode to hops.
Light carbonated mouthfeel. Very solid realty foundation of rock on which to build a temple to aromatic hops. Finish is just bitter enough to remind you that alpha acids do exist and that you do love bitter hops, even if they can be evil bastards some times.
Clean aftertaste. No clingy, schmaltzy, disgustingly cloying good-byes. A nice goodnight kiss with just a hint of playful tongue.
Good night, Bristol Beer Factory, I love you!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours amber with small head. In aroma very hoppy - pine, grapefruit, lemon, pineapple and some hints of malt. In taste a little bit of malt with lots of hoopy flavours (mostly citrus). Medium body and carbonation, bitter finish. Well done refreshing beer.

Cask, half pint, by hand-pump at Grove Inn. White head leaving dotted spots on the glass. Clear amber coloured body. Pine and floral hops to the nose. Citrus core to the taste profile followed by dry bitter fruity peels to the ending. Medium bodied. A refreshing thirst quencher, indeed (Huddersfield 09.07.2014).

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at the Lyric. Deepish amber colour, thin head. An aggressively hoppy ale. Pine and grapefruit citrus, bitter, long finish. The malts are just enough to hold it, but still a hop forward beer. Holds a lot of flavour for the abv, which is to be applauded, and this is very refreshing and moreish. A very good effort.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a large off-white head, which lasts reasonably well, and leaves decent lacing. Pineapple, resin and grapefruit hops mix with caramel malt to create the aroma. Peppery and resin hops up front lead into smooth, slightly sweet caramel in the mid-palate. Spicy and grapefruit hops give it a nicely bitter finish. A pleasant pale ale indeed.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is big citrus fruit hop, pine needles. The flavour is medium bitter with a light malt, hop spice bitter palate and long fruity bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Really enjoyed this one. Very refreshing indeed and lots going on. For an APA is this is very good indeed and if Three Floyds had brewed it, people would be saying it was a whale i’m sure!
