Bottle. Golden colour with a white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is mainly fresh hops with notes of citrus and resins. Flavor has a decent bitterness, very fruity, notes of citrus, tangerina and grapefruit. The final has a decent bitterness with a dry sensation on palate.

Cask at Caley Sample Rooms. Very bitter with the priminent US hop flavour. I’m not sure that this style of beer works on cask - I’d prefer this colder and with some more carbo.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy bronze, light carbonation and lingering head. Nose is fruity, pine, lemon, lime, and something tropical, passion fruit maybe. Taste is lemon, peach, pineapple, with a buzzy carbonation, and slight biscuity malt and bitter finish. Absolutely delicious.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: Sweet caramel and freshly cut lime.
Appearance: Hazy amber body with a medium white head that holds well. Light carbonation. Great lacing.
Taste: Very sharp and bitter. Taste is of leafy hops, lime and pine.
Palate: Medium body with a foamy mouthfeel. Average carbonation fizz.
Overall: Definitely on for the hop heads - very bitter and aggressive. Easily the bitterest APA I’ve tried to date.
