Cask at Caley Sample Rooms. Very bitter with the priminent US hop flavour. Im not sure that this style of beer works on cask - Id prefer this colder and with some more carbo.

[10/2/13] Cask at Euston Tap in London. Slightly hazy golden. Hoppy aroma with overripe tropical fruits. Flavor of fruity hops, some citrus and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Good and easy-drinking.

Fresh Mango and tropical fruits on the nose. Replicated in taste - but fleeting. Immediately devoured by a rather astringent and lasting bitterness, building long after. Mouth-feel is a little watery. Not particularly well-rounded but bold tasting.

500ml bottle at home. Hazy orange yellow pour. Massive white head, high carbonation. Tropical fruit and grapefruit aromas. Taste has a decent bitterness, but the palate is a tad thin. Good though.

Cask at Barley Mo. It pours clear deep amber with a medium beige head. The nose is caramel, toast and candied peel, stewed orange. The taste is soft, caramel, orange, mandarine, apricot, marmalade, with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Smooth and quaffable. Pretty tasty.

Hoppy; piney resinous hops. Malty; balancing malt backbone. Bitter citrus fruity and very dry throughout. Very drinkable.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a large off-white head, which lasts reasonably well, and leaves decent lacing. Pineapple, resin and grapefruit hops mix with caramel malt to create the aroma. Peppery and resin hops up front lead into smooth, slightly sweet caramel in the mid-palate. Spicy and grapefruit hops give it a nicely bitter finish. A pleasant pale ale indeed.

Pleasantly floral nose with kiwi, rosehip and plain old lemon notes. Pours a hazy medium gold with a thin but persistant head. Flavour is big, bold and fat with juicy, spicy notes of pine and grapefruit underpinned by a hint of sugarpuffs. Very nice.
