Cask-conditioned at the Barley Mow, Bristol 25/05/2011. Dark brown, with plenty of red in the background and a decent, off-white head. Aroma of dark fruits, liquorice and caramel, with a hint of roastiness in the background. Flavour had plenty more fruit and liquorice, with a toasty edge and light, yet bitter finish. Very drinkable.
