Deep ruby color, good creamybeige head, some lace. Sweetish caramelly aroma with some licorice, toasted maltyness. Medium-bodied, good for this ABV. Caramel, licorice, cough syrup, Finish has some herbal hoppyness. Quite robust porter for being 4.5%. Very good light sweet stout.

Dark brown, almost black; medium creamy white head; aroma of dried dark fruit and malt; taste is smooth, lactic, surprisingly fruity (dark fruits, berries), milk chocolate; slight bitter tingle on the long fruity finish; roast malts become more prominent towards the end; very good stuff.

Pours black with a large tan head. Has a lovely sweet aroma of coffee, chocolate and burnt toast. Smooth creamy flavour of coffee and burnt toast. Possibly the nicest stout I’ve had!

Bottled. Jet black with a small, light brown head. Coffee, toffee, and a hint of leather on the nose. Creamy smooth with a touch of acidity, quite a bit of sweetness, and a long finish of coffee and chocolate. Only improvement would be a bit more body. Excellent.

Pours thick. Coffee aromas with a hint of vanilla. Black with minimal tan head. Tastes bitter coffee notes with a somewhat metallic taste. Nice burnt, nutty taste on the back of the tongue but tainted with something less admirable. Not especially thick, slightly disappointed with this one but my standards are pretty high.

(Bottle): Pours black with a small tan head. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malt aroma. Mostly coffee and roasted malt taste, slight sweet notes like milky chocolate, cappucino etc. A tad watery and predictable.
