COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle (bottle conditioned); Special - part of 2012 "12 Stouts of Christmas" range.
With great help form the guys at Extract Coffee Roasters, we have picked out the Hope Project Peaberry Espresso from Tanzania to blend with our Stout. It has notes of bitter/sweet dark chocolate and a cherry fruitiness.

Odense Beer & Ball Saturday - Nigeria-Denmark World Cup 1998. Near black with a small tan head. Strong coffee aroma with chocolate and toasted bread. Sweetish roasted malty flavour with lots of coffee. Relatively good coffee character, with more fresh ground beans, and less cold coffee character

Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Palate is crispy and semi dry. Minerals. Nicely judged espresso coffee, slightly earthy. A little malt cream. No obvious chocolate so this is really a coffee beer but it’s not bad.

Bottle. Black beer with a strong light brown head. The aroma is mildly coffee, and the flavour is quite bitter and roasted with oaty and yeastiness. Overall a reasonable and drinkable stout, not too strong. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Idiosynkrasie (3239) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 28, 2013
500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Dark malty aroma with explicit, intense mocha note, a touch of roast, black bread. Taste is initially minimally sweet dark malty, intense mocha note, dark chocolate, more fruity in the middle part (cherry), in the finish dry and again with more mocha. Superb mocha note, obligatory for those who like it.

A body of coffee and chocolate balances with a lactose and spice finish. Long finish, but in a positive way for this style beer
