Cask at the Euston Tap. Rich gold pour with a dense, white head. Nutty aroma with toasted malts and earthy hops. Decent flavor, buttery malts with some herbal, leafy bitters. Medium in body with smooth carbonation. Finishes with a nice sweetness, somewhat fruity with just hints of dry leaves. Not bad.

Cask gravity at Battersea BF 08. Chestnut with lasting beige head. Looks in good nick. Thatís alright. Itís a best bitter, decent berry fruit. Itís actually pretty good considering the 4 beers that went before. Mind you I did get bored with the English beers after this one and went onto the Germans.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, dark amber beer with a small, beige to off-white head. Toffee-ish, biscuity and roasted with a fruity touch on the aroma. The flavor is much the same, a nice bitterness added. Quite dry, full-bodied and smooth. Pleasant bitterness in the end. A quite drinkable one, maybe a bit dry actually, but itís quenching and tasteful. 110415
