A light malt base; Maris Otter, CaraPils and wheat malt allows the bright, fresh and zesty hop aromas to shine - underpinned by herbal and floral notes.
(A non sorachi ace version of acer due to no hops available!)

SilkTork (5162) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2014
Fountain Inn, Gloucester. Lovely floral citric display on an undistinguished pale watery biscuit malt. The hops are the main thing, and are just a little overdone for my taste.

imdownthepub (9954) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 6, 2014
Cask conditioned at No.1 Harbourside, Bristol. Gold with white head. There is a light and crisp character to this straight off, grapefruit peel and citric bitterness, lasting on the palate, well hopped. A very pleasant light beer.

jerd16 (183) - Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2014
Pours clear gold with small white head. Very unsatisfying emaciated palate. Herbal and grassy flavour. Potent hoppiness drags its insipid profile to a mouth-gasping bitter finish.

Cask, Grain Barge, Bristol, 18/01/14. Loose bubbled pale gold. Squash, lemon zest and pine aroma. Drying pine-accented hop over lingering bread and monkey nut malt. Hints of ice cream cone. Forthright bitterness. Fine hangover remedy.

gunnar (5105) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JAN 14, 2014
Cask at Harp, Charing Cross. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is light malty, touch of spice. Taste is light sweet malty, fruity hops towards the short finish, citrus and grapefruity, nice.

Beese (1462) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2014
Cask at the Pint Shop, Cambridge on 24 November 2013. Poured a dark golden colour with no head. Aroma was somewhat sulphureous with hints of wet grass and pineapple. Citrus hops detectable in the initial flavour with some grass and stale malt. Finish was watery with some bread and a little earthy hint. Not sure if this was not a great beer, or not well kept, or possibly both...
