3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Herbaceous, belgian blonde styley nose with some spice and pepper. Flavour is more of that belgian blonde with some fresh citric notes and some bitter, esthery goodness providing balance. A bit over-carbed and a bit astringent but not a bad effort.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle bb29082013 gushed probably due to secondary fermentation rather than infection. Banana and clove esters form the aroma. Taste spicy, prickly in mouth. Overall: True to style saison (belgian) beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. Almost luminous hazy orange with very fleeting fluffy off-white head. Typical belgian peppery yeast esters on nose with more of same in taste. quite boozy, spiky carbonation, nutmeg, corriander abit messy, very warm, some bubblegum sweetness in finish. Preferred the firstversion tbh

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Spot on saison with a rocking aroma and the yeast lends it a spicy character. Cloves are present. Maybe too much of that element. Some diacetyl. Overall not bad. Easy drinker. Malt is a bit smokey.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the bottle. Pours slightly cloudy amber, nice head and well carbonated. Grassy lightly hoppy aroma. If I’d tasted this blind I’d swear this was a wheat beer ... has citrus peel and a bit of sourness before a gentle bitterness at the end. Jolly good stuff.
