Aroma: dough, yeast, grain and cereal malts, fruity, red berries and a touch of citrus. Appearance: hazy, dark gold, medium, creamy, white head. Taste: light bitter and sweet. Palate: sweet grain and caramel malts, light citrus fruits, oranges, red fruits, grapes, a touch of red wine, light bitter finish. Overall: very nice Saison, well-rounded, not too extreme, yet fairly complex in both aroma and palate. Bottle from Red Squirrel Shop, Amersham.
