50cl bottle from Alesbymail. Bb 23/04/14. Hazy golden, frothy lasting white head. Love the aroma; citrus peel, yeast, mild sourness, earthy notes. Flavor is citrus, hops, floral notes, wheat. Finish is dry, citrus/lime lingers with some sour notes in the back. Got me thinkin of Nögne/Bridge Road india saison. Excellent.

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Murky golden body with a thin white head that slowly fades to nothing. Sour aroma of muted lemon and salt. Tastes of oranges, herbs and lemon meringue pie. Medium to full body with a frothy texture. Lively carbonation. A solid but unspectacular Saison.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2013 (Bottled) A damn good take on a Saison ,i mean tick every damn box . It looks like Achel blond or something quintessntially ’Belgian ’ in a goblet . Drinks down dry -floral ,spicy -with orange .apple . banana estery flavour . Soft body -easy to drink -yet the 6.5 % reminds yo its lurking in the glass.

Bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a strong frothy head. The aroma is sour with some dry and bitterness. The flavour is spiced with sour and bitterness. Overall a nice beer of a sour and spiced nature. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Soft cloudy amber with a clean white head. The aroma straight from the pour begins rather harsh with slight acetyl notes but soon subsides to subtle spice and fruit of no particular discerning character. Mild body with mouth tingling effervescence. An initial mild malt character with slight herbal tones quickly gives way to a semi-sweet and tart dry bitterness. Neither a bad brew nor good, needs more discernible character.

jerd16 (194) - Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2013 Cloudy amber with 1.5 finger head. Amalgamation of notes, nothing particularly discernible. Medium and lively carbonation. Initial citrus is fleeting and replaced by a dry and acerbic finish. Unfulfilling saison. Veers more towards a Belgian blonde. A beer with an identity crisis.

Very hazy amber beer, little white head. Palate is light and crisp and semi dry. Semi sweet malt, typical Saison - light herby tang. Light banana ester. Whisper of caramel. Light finish. Not bad, refreshing and clean.

Big coarseish offwhite head. Hazy coppery body. Mealy orangey funky aroma with spicy herbal notes. Dry-sweet mealy orangey spicy taste with peppery notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, hot, fizzy mouthfeel. Dry spicy peppery orangey aftertaste with mealy herbal notes. Nice, drinkable, interesting. (0.5l bottle, from House of Trembling Madness, York.)

Herbaceous, belgian blonde styley nose with some spice and pepper. Flavour is more of that belgian blonde with some fresh citric notes and some bitter, esthery goodness providing balance. A bit over-carbed and a bit astringent but not a bad effort.
