4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy amber ale with a frothy head. Aroma is, unsurprisingly, strong hop but it has a tinge of citrus and possibly a sweeter fruit to it as well. Taste matches that though not as strong as you might expect from the scent, but it’s balanced nicely. There’s fruit in the finish but almost a toasty hint as well. Delicious.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - hazy amber with slim off-white head. Citrus hops and tropical fruit with a strong malt backbone. Similar in the taste, medium bodied, bit of an oily mouthfeel, late bitter finish. Not bad, but not crisp, interesting or well crafted enough for my liking.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Strong pineapple hop aroma. Clear golden amber. Piney, peppery and bitter floral flavours with a big bitter bite on the end. Really refreshing and fruity. Fantastic mouthfeel, fills the mouth, although the texture is not thick but works well. Only thing I would say is that it may be very slightly too bitter on the end but it is interesting and everything else makes up for this anyway. Like drinking the most fragrant bitter orange juice ever.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. An unclear, orange-golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Some lacings. The aroma has pine cones, citrus peel and some maltyness. It’s full-bodied and dry, with a nice carbonation level. Bitter, citrus-peelish flavor with pine cones and a little maltyness. Lasting bitter finish. A pretty nice one, sure shows also the Brits can make proper IPA’s. 131019

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. Slightly hazy copper colour with a medium-sized, almost-white head of fine bubbles. Hoppy aroma of pine and grapefruit. Slightly honeyed start I the mouth, with grapefruit in the middle and a very dry, piney finish. Clean flavours are very well balanced with a touch of warming alcohol and prickle of carbonation. Excellent.
