Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020508)

Cask at NWAF 2009. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a lightly bitter finish, where the straw note lingers.

Cask@Euston Tap, London. Golden colour with a small off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, fruits and mild floral notes. Flavour is similar with some mild herbal and yeasty notes.

@ Grain Barge. Amber with a slight haze. Caramel and slightly toasty malt. Toasty with some woody hops and light fruitiness.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear gold beer. Suddy white head. Light palate, semi dry with some fine carbonation. Dry pale malt. Ok citrus hop - mild orange. Whisper of sulphur. Dry finish. Ok.

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding, Oxford. Gold with white head. Fruity, peach, apricot, sweetish golden ale. A little thin on the palate with a pronounced bready character. Some yeasty, slightly tinny hints. Juicy finish. It’s fine.

Cask conditioned handpump White Swan Leeds 14/08/12. A golden coloured beer with a tight white head and lacing. A crisp biscuity aroma. Decent fruity tastes. Biscuity malts. Served too cold and over sparkled. I think there’s a nice fruity beer trying to get out of this.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. Golden, nice lasting offwhite head. Fruity aroma. Malty fruity, somewhat strange flavor. Guess there is something with this brewery that does not appeal to me.

Cask (gravity dispense) at London Drinker Beer Festival 2007. Clear, mid-gold colour with some spicy, slightly lemony hop character and a gentle, underlying cookie malt presence. Pleasant and easygoing but not hugely assertive.
