25KG OF RASPBERRIES - AMAZING This is our Raspberry Stout, strong and black, yet tart and fruity, a delicious treat of a beer. Surprisingly drinkable, there are flavours of raspberry, chocolate & dark fruits. Brewed using a Belgian yeast & roasted malts & 25kg of Raspberries! A great after-dinner treat. Drink from a brandy snifter & savour the aromas & flavours.

Bottle - 500ml - from my dear friend MadMitch76. Consumed at home. Aroma is raspberries; grains; tar; car tyres; beachwood, oak and treacle and leather. Taste is raspberries; grains; black liquorice; roasted malt; peat and motor oil. It’s pretty thick and chewey; kinda rough on the palate. It’s a good old-fashioned stout and something for a warm log fire on cold winter nights. I’ve just done a crazy shift and this is my much-required pick-me-up! Good work!

Bootle - Raspberry syrup and bitter chocolate. Jet black with decent brown head. Soured dark malts with the raspberry peaks through. A nice tartness in the finish makes this quite nice.

Great beer bought at Aakjærs, Esbjerg. Great looking beer with a great taste! A very masculine beer! Dark as the North Sea Oil!

Bottle at home, 20th September 2013. Pours way too fizzy for a stout, great big head, aroma is slightly metallic and raspberry. Taste is metallic, too much raspberry. An ugly drink, disappointing

50cl, at 7.5%Vol, as Bristol Ultimate Raspberry (from the 12 Stouts series), new exclusive English brew Anno 2011, with raspberries, from The Bottle Shop Canterbury, very complex Stout, roasted/fruity and slightly sour/woody, balanced, cloudy, small head, very good brew, yet expensive

500ml bottle [7.5% abv]. Opaque dark brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Intense raspberry aroma, dark malty background. Taste has initially full raspberry flavour, sweet and tart, later the malty background gains more weight with hints of dark chocolate and a touch of roast. Good.
