4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle @ home. The pourís deep brown with a medium tan head that takes its sweet time to develop. The nose is definite Belgian yeast, ribbon candy sweetness. Some notes of earthy toffee and medium roast coffee. Hints of vinous chocolate-dipped red berry. The taste is definitely interesting - the belgian yeast gives a bubble gum sweetness that blends well with rich berry flavors. Chocolate cake, rich roasted malts. Mildly nutty, creamy finish. Luxurious mouthfeel. Fruity, pleasant. Nice, soft body. Really well executed and flavorful stuff. Overall, wow, this was much better than I thought it would be. By far the best Bristol beer Iíve had.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Alesbymail. Pours black with a small disappearing head. Chocolate, vanilla, fruit, mild roast and ashes. Smooth and soft with a low carbonation. Tasty and uncomplicated. Not an imperial stout but more like a foreign stout as already stated.

Medium body with no foam at all. Aroma of vanilla and roasted malt. Tastes like roasted malt, coffee and vanilla. The alcohol is pretty much there since the first minutes.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: APR 14, 2014 Bottle @ home. Opaque black color, small a bit soapy brown head. Smell and taste malts, slightly sweetish next to a light bitterness, some toasted malts, a slight hint of chocolate and coffee. Low carbonation, average to medium body. Hmm not as good as I had hoped.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Wine like, chocolate aroma with hint of burnt coffee and grains. No head. Black. Rich, silky dark burnt chocolatey flavours alongside the taste of the grains. A milky sensation as you swallow. A very satisfying brew.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml bottle at The local Pub, Athens Greece. Pitch black color with a thin off-white to light brown head, 1 finger tall that left really quick. Aromas of black chocolate and some cherries at first, with alcohol following (especcially when shaking the glass), along with maybe some more dark fruits like plums and blackberries but not so easy to understand. Taste was a lot better with holy sweetness filling the mouth. Black chocolate, plums, resins, blackberries, burnt sugar and a nice wine touch (probably from the Belgian yeast). Some roasted when it got warmer, paired with hints of oak and alcohol. The aftertaste is sweet and mild. Light body, a great disadvantage for me, and medium carbonation, maybe too much for the style. A great beer (rated as a Belgian Stout, not an Imperial Stout, itís NOT an imperial Stout!!!)
