Bottled (from AbM). Deep amber (close to copper) colour with a small bubbly head. Aroma is berries, some floral and grassy notes along with some mild caramel malts and also some wood. Flavour is mild wood, floral, berries, grassy and mild toasted notes. As it warms up it gets slightly metallic notes in the flavour as well. Not your typical "brilliance" in BBF beers.

Euston Tap. Lightly hazy amber beer. Tiny suddy white head. Light palate, semi dry. Something of a fresh air beer - mild malt, a little apples. Very mild orange hop. Dry finish. Dull, ephemeral and a bit green. Very disappointing!

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear amber with a foamy, white head. Toasty malt nose with notes of dirt. Medium sweet flavor, some toasty dough, dirt, earth, mild diacetyl notes, light-moderate bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light to mediums sweet finish with some toasted grass, toasty malts, some nuts, mild dried cranberries. Meh, doesn’t do much for me.

50cl bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Hazy deep red brown with a thick lasting beige head. Piney hoppy aroma. Some malts in the mouth, then a big whack of piney hop on finish. It’s decent enough and kept compnay with my lunch. Typical interpretation of an american amber. Yes, it’s pretty good and a style I very much like. Some sweetness. Yes pretty good.

Gravity Dispense at Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival 2012. Dark russet brown with reddish tinges and a good sized off white head. Nose is heavily infused with caramel malts, pine, hops and a little grapefruit. Taste follows. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a bitter finish. Decent fayre.
