COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bristol Brewing Company proudly announce the graduation of Edge City IPA to six packs and confer upon it the name of Bristol’s Compass IPA! This is an ale with zip. Our IPA brings together copious amounts of Columbus, Chinook and Cascade hops in a tasty combination that lingers through the finish and beyond. Big hop flavor with malt in a nice supporting role.

Grand Junction, CO - College Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy medium golden, soft snow white head, nice film of lacing. Aroma has some pungent spruce accents, some floral accents. Bold IPA flavor, some bittersweet citrus, a touch of mango frutiness, some raw cake mix sweetness. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Pretty solid.

2015 bottle. Pours a clear dark amber with a nice sized off white head and good lacing. Aroma has juicy citrus and pine notes with a hint of floral. Taste has a good amount of bitterness with pine and grapefruit in equal proportions with a hint of black pepper and citrus pith finish. Light bodied with an aqueous mouthfeel and medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tastes like an old school west coast IPA. Dry and resinous with plenty of bitter. Not bad at all.

Mild citrus hop aroma. Pretty color with a decent head. Medium palate and easy to drink. It was a mix of hoppy pale ale and IPA. Not over the top, just even keel and better than most of their beers.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear bright amber with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like caramel, dry grapefruit, citrus hops, toasted malt, and resin. Medium body and carbonation. Smells like citrus hops, toasted malt, caramel, grapefruit, and a hint of vinegar.

Malty IPA with primarily piney hops. Bit of a soapy odd finish in addition the the piney hop finish. Unfiltered "dirty" feel to it. Drinkable but nothing really stands out about this IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
