3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4104) - Hardened Liver, USA - SEP 2, 2007
Bottle: Amberish in color, on the orange side, slightly hazy, large foamy off-white head, fairly sticky lacing.   Pale citrus
rind nose.   Perhaps a slight dash of pine.   Smooth pine and citrus rind on the tongue.   Minor astringency.   Tastes a bit
better than the aroma.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Drinks like a fairly standard IPA.   Not a lot of floral or hop
bitterness, or should I say the bitterness reminds me of an orange rind.   Decent, but wished it was a bit more floral and bright,
instead of citrus rind bitterness with a dash of astringency.   Average.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 craftbeerdesign (1981) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Nitro pour at Freshcraft. Orange pour with a thick creamy white head. Light citrus hop nose - not as hoppy as most IPAs. Med, creamy (nitro) body with well balanced citrus hops and caramel malts. Citrus bitter finish that sticks around a bit.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 csaso (487) - Missouri, USA - MAY 9, 2012
Tap - average size foamy head, medium copper color, nice big grapefruit hop aroma and flavor with a pretty good malt back bone - good IPA
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 makyo (45) - Alabama, USA - MAY 4, 2012
So many good IPAs put there maybe I'm being a little stingy rating. No complaints but I may spend my beer dollar in pursuit of better.

On tap in CO Springs. Big notro-like head. Hazy yellow pour. Not a lot of aroma to it. A generally dry beer--british style, minerally, dry. Good dose of hop at the end.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Falconseye8 (542) - Evans, Colorado, USA - DEC 15, 2011
Finished second to Yellow Kite as my favorite beer of this sampler pack. Very nice IPA but not at the top of my favorites. Something I really enjoyed was the blending of the bitter/grapefruit/malt/hop concoction. Again, this is a beer I would recommend others give a try.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 adnielsen (3755) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 8, 2011
Bottle @ home. I’m a little surprised that I haven’t rated this yet- I guess I’ll have to make a stop by Bristol next time I’m in the Springs. Cloudy, golden orange appearance with a fluffy, cream/tan head. Somewhat grapefruit/orange citrusy, piney hoppy, slightly toasty aroma. Sweet, toasty pale malty, piney, grapefruit hoppy, a touch earthy flavor. Pretty solid IPA.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 BucannonXC5 (330) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 15, 2011
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2011 Poured from a draft into a pilsner glass at Buffalo Wild Wings in Colorado Springs, Colo. Inch of head. Color was hazy, murky caramel. Lots of lacing. Lots of film on the sides throughout.
Smelled of buttery malts. Slightly bitter.
Similar to the nose. Tasted of a buttery balance with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
Medium body. Average carbonation. Consistent, smooth taste.
Just an okay beer overall. I was hoping for better but I guess that’s what I get for hoping.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Beershine (4712) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Draft @ taproom. Bright amber. The nitro has a typical head. Lots of c-hops in the aroma. Quite typical of the style overall. Nitro gives it a soft palate. The malts are not the most exciting around, sort of a crystal malt overload but overall well-made. Of course, better without the nitro pour because the non-nitro, more regularly carbonated palate allows the flavors to develop better.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 4, 2011
Amber. Earthy, woody, slightly mushroomy hop aroma. Moderate bitterness, honeyish sweetness. Woody, floral character. OK, well made but not very exciting.
