Draught at brewery. Pours ruby-copper with a medium sized frothy tan head and lined lacing. Aroma is huge fragrant floral citrus, grapefruit hops with trace malt (meal). Heavy bitter and moderate acidic rind, grapefruit hop flavor, medium sweetness and a lasting hop flavor. Medium bodied and fizzy, clean palate.

Draft at brewery. This IPA deosn’t really smell too good and it really isn’t that wonderful in taste either. While it has a lot of hops, it tastes funky, as if there is bad malts or something. Not as good as their regular IPA.

Draft at brewery: Medium copper with a really nice and lasting head. Very nice texture -- not too thick and not too thin. Rich and roasty with a complementing caramel sweetness. Fruity, aromatic hops, with notes of sweetened grapefruit and spruce tips. Bitterness level was very balancing. Overall, I thought it was a very tasty beer. A little beefier than your typical IPA, but it was still clean enough to quaff easily, and it doesn’t put you out like a double.
