dwyerpg (1990), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Feb 23, 2006 This is mostly just too fruity and not what you would expect at all. It’s too sweet, and the fruit that I pick up is peaches, though I may be crazy. Okay to drink in small doses. DarkElf (2453), La Jolla, California, USA Nov 28, 2004 (Draft: Wet Hop Beer Festival, O’Brien’s in San Diego, CA) Mildly sweet and fruity, malty, and balanced by a moderately bitter hoppiness. The hops is less prominent than in most of the other wet hopped beers in this festival, but the fresh hops is more apparent in the finish. Medium body. The balanced nose is mildly hoppy with decent malt aroma. A modest aroma of fresh, sweet bananas is a bit odd for this style, though. Light amber color. Light tan head retreats to just a bubbly island. Vac (2184), San Diego, California, USA Nov 20, 2004 This brew pours with a slightly cloudy, amber body topped by a thin head with some lacing. The aroma and flavor are both sweet and fruity (melon) with little hop character. I’m not impressed. medium bodied, smooth and a touch dry. DaSilky1 (1528), San Diego, California, USA Nov 20, 2004 No head at all. Dark orangish amber color. Grapey tart aroma. Medicinal bitterness, dry, and grapey flavors...some slightly sticky sweetness but the majority of the experience was dominated by medicinal dryness. This brew was supposedly brewed with wild hops, but IM thinking they just got stoned and forgot where they planted them...not bad overall though. BeerandBlues2 (2411), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 11, 2004 This is a new edition to the Edge City series. Amber with a thin off-white head. Hoppy aroma with an orange nose. Bitter hop flavor. Medium clean palate.
