argo0 (6332), Washington DC, USA Mar 23, 2008 (22oz bottle, thanks acrdz) Small off-white head atop hazy amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, bread/caramel, some toffee. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, some caramel/bread, light earthy. Medium body, some stickiness. acrdz (4535), Boulder, Colorado, USA Mar 24, 2008 Bomber from Kevin. Golden honey colored body, mostly clear. Sweet, sticky honey malt, medium thickness for a marzen, it’s oily and hoppy but not overhoppy, just a bit more than usual for the style... overall clean and simple, tastes of corn, wheat, fish (?). Not bad. Ernest (4322), Boulder, Colorado, USA Mar 27, 2005 Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted bread, cookie), lightly hoppy (grapefruit, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Not a terribly interesting example (not much aroma), but not bad. jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 28, 2005 on tap-pours an off white head. Color is clear gold. Taste is sweet and malty. A middle of the road beer. badgerben (3264), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Dec 13, 2007 Brought back by Brewfiend. Orange color with no head. Faint aroma of sweet corn.
