COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Laughing Lab has a nourishing maltiness that comes from six specialty malts. Its nutty, roasted flavor is mildly sweet, but not too rich. Smooth and luscious!

Pours deep red/gold with a thick head that laces down the glass. Malty English ale aromas Flavor is malty sweetness with unexpected biscuit caramel nutty malts and earthy english(?) hops Comes across much more dry and complex than other Scottish ales with more hop flavor and bitterness than the style dictates. This is more of a robust red ale than a Scottish.

12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into my Funkwerks glass. Brown and lightly hazy with a small, off-white head. Sweet aroma of toasted malts, caramel, toffee, nuts, bread and light hops. Medium sweetness and very light bitterness. Light to medium body with a soft, creamy feel and a smooth, lingering finish.

On tap. Medium to dark amber pour. Decent off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts with a low hop profile. Medium body. Taste of slightly sweet malts and a pungent lingering bitterness. Not as up front as other Scotch Ales I have had.
