D_malone102 (57), Denver, Colorado, USA Jun 5, 2008 Mass transit has a dark-gold color with a light tan head.
It has a slight hop aroma that is dominated by malt. It tastes brittish to me, diacetyl is present and is accentuated by toasty malt (perhaps victory malt?). There is a prominent hop flavor, but it could be stronger. Not very balanced, but drinkable. I would reccomend trying mass transit.
bearlybrewed (6), Kansas, USA does not count Jun 4, 2008 I found this beer rather lacking in taste, palate, and flavor. The light amber color was expected, however, its lightness left me wanting a more robust maltiness. Has a finish that was a bit bitter. VitaminR (239), USA Feb 14, 2008 Very subtle minty note, with some nutmeg. Amber, slight haze. Malty, with some tartness. Good body, long finish. Amber is not my favorite style, but this is not bad... BlackForestCO (478), Fort Collins and Black Forest, Colorado, USA Jan 6, 2008 On tap. Poured a light amber color with a thin white head. Light malt aroma, somewhat hard to detect. Sweet malts lead into a nice, fruity (slight citrus and tangerine) middle, and it ends with a biscuity malt taste. Nothing is really outstanding about this beer, it is just a simple beer that is easy to enjoy. RSRIZZO (947), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Sep 23, 2007 Had this beer on 2/26/1999. Color is a rich brown with good carbonation and a ligth head. Aroma is a light sweet malt scent. Taste is rich and smooth. It starts off the a medium body that goes down smooth with a rich malt flavor. The finish is a malty tang and a mild yet sharp bitterness. Its an all around good drinking beer.
