From the barrel at Battersea Beer Festival, 11 February 2010 at 6.8%. Badged as Original Cider Co - I wonder whether Broadoak have changed their branding? Orange colour. Decent fruit. Pleasant and easy drinking if not the most demanding cider.

I can’t understand why anyone would want to drink this apart from the ABV, "fun" (?) gross artificial colour and the fact it is sickly sweet. Maybe the fact it is tasteless helps? It doesn’t help further the cause of real cider and perry.

At the cider festival, the Royal Oak, Bath 13/06/09. Painfully bright orange - a rival for Thatcher’s Cheddar Valley in the colour stakes. Slightly tart apple aroma, followed by a sweetish flavour and finish. Ok.

Cask gravity at Luton BF ’09. Bright orange. Sweet slightly oily aroma of overripe apples. Sweet taste. No hint of astringency, sourness, dryness. Just sweetness. Fine if you’re in the mood.
