Red Rocket is lively and up front, with a malt-inspired body and a crisp finish. Its character comes from a blend of Perle, Willamette and Cascade hops. Dry hopped with Cascade for a refreshing aroma.

Pint glass, half finger of head. Cloudy, copper colored body. Smell is malty, wet grain in a barnyard. Not great. Taste is sour with mild bitterness. Itís a bit disjointed. Smooth texture, moderate carbonation and medium body. Not too impressed with this. Not horrible, but missing the mark.

12oz bottle pours copper/amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma us pine, citrus, caramel and spice. Taste begins with a nice mellow bitterness into pine and citrus and the it just falls into nothing the taste stops there. I feel like the is half a decent beer but needs a bright finish.

Clouded amber hue, decent head formation. Baked bread, yeasty malty aroma. Sweet malty, bready with dark fruit flavor. Mild bitterness in the finish but subdued by the heavy malt content. Fairly unique take on a much cloned style.

On tap at the brewery: Poured clear orange/yellow with a medium sized head. Nice aroma of piney hops and citrus. Taste is more piney/citrusy hops, well carbonated. Somewhat of a short finish. Solid beer. I enjoyed it.

Had this beer on 2/24/1999. Color is a nice nut brown with low carbonation and very little head. Aroma has light malt tones and good hop scents in it. Taste good but a bit flat. It starts with a medium body that seems a bit heavier than it is because of the carbonation being low. Goes down smooth with the hop flavor coming out right away. The finish is a light malt flavor with strong hop flavorings and a mild hop bitterness.

Aroma was faint but hoppy, which one would expect from a dry-hopped beer. Nice color and clarity. Medium weight with a crisp and clean finish. Mild pale malt background with a mild hop flavor.
