COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Red Rocket is lively and up front, with a malt-inspired body and a crisp finish. Its character comes from a blend of Perle, Willamette and Cascade hops. Dry hopped with Cascade for a refreshing aroma.

(12oz bottle thanks to BMan1113VR) Pours clear medium yellow with film of bubbles. Nose of faded hops, sweet grain, very subdued grapefruit. Taste of earth, rye, grain, with a creamy but undercarbonated and slightly thin finish. Had this been more fresh it may have been better.

12oz bottle pours copper/amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma us pine, citrus, caramel and spice. Taste begins with a nice mellow bitterness into pine and citrus and the it just falls into nothing the taste stops there. I feel like the is half a decent beer but needs a bright finish.

One of my early BA reviews. Appearance: A pale orange color with a slight haze. Bubbles rise quickly and constantly to the surface, but there is no significant head. Smell: The smell of the glass itself seems stronger than the beer, unless the beer smells like glass. Slightly dry with a subtle bitterness. Nothing notable in terms of fruity or piney smells. Malt seems to dominate. Taste: Dry and bitter. Malt dominates, with only (slightly lemony) bitterness giving any indication that hops were used at all. The finish is almost entirely pale malt flavor. Kind of like what youíd expect from a bottle if it were just labeled "Beer." Mouthfeel: Medium body, but possibly just very very carbonated. Prickly in a way. Drinkability: About average. It wonít kick your tastebuds much, but it could be good with a burger or something. If youíre only drinking beer, youíll probably get bored of the flavor unless itís being used primarily as a social lubricant.

Pint glass, half finger of head. Cloudy, copper colored body. Smell is malty, wet grain in a barnyard. Not great. Taste is sour with mild bitterness. Itís a bit disjointed. Smooth texture, moderate carbonation and medium body. Not too impressed with this. Not horrible, but missing the mark.

12 oz bottle from Conifer Village Liquor. Amber, hazy appearance with a white head and minimal lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, citrus fruit and light bitter hops. Similar flavor, mild sweetness and mild bitterness with light fruitiness. Pretty light body. Not too good, probably been on the shelf for a while.

Bottle. Pours amber, with medium sediment, and an off white head. Weird sweet malts, just the faintest hint of dicetyl, and light herbal hops. Iíd assume this was old, but the bottle says itís 4 months old, so... itís really not that old. Not that good.

Poured with no head and little carbonation. Iím wondering if I got a bad bottle. This tasted very metallic on the front end and had a lingering, roasted malt aftertaste, with little hop flavor at all. I had expected a big hop flavor, because many of the Colorado brewers are extreme-hopping even their pales. Iím fine that there wasnít a lot of hop to this--itís more in keeping with the pale ale style. But itís the watery, metallic taste that is ultimately dissatisfying.
