COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Skull N’ Bones Release 5/26/2009 : From 5:00 to 9:00 We’ll tap up a keg of Skull ’n Bones Grand Cru this afternoon. It took five years to get this to its current, slightly sour and oh-so-refreshing perfection, so don your drinking cap and head on down. --------------- http://www.bristolbrewing.com/event detail.asp?ev id=95

illidurit (1300) - Santa Cruz, USA - JAN 3, 2012
2004 bottle courtesy of scray24 shared at the December iteration of the Santa Cruz tasting series. Pours a muddy color with a disappearing tan head. Getting a lot of earthy mustiness coupled with some dark fruits and sourness. A little cheesy/sweaty at times. Old breads and fruits. Not bad for an ancient beer.

arminjewell (3107) - Parker, Colorado, USA - OCT 5, 2011
2004 bottle at Rackhouse rare beer tasting 2011. Pour was murky reddish brown with off white head dissipating quickly. Alcohol was over 10%, and the legs on it showed. This was big, with notes of deep caramelized sugars, molasses, dark fruit, toffee, some roast and bitter earth in there, funkiness came through a bit and a slight acetic note. Taste was just as complex with the sweet dark fruit, sugars and toffee coming through going into dry and bitter funk, earth, finishing slightly tart and very dry.

jb43 (1648) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 28, 2009
(on tap at the brewery). Pours a cloudy, faded copper color. Small off white head. Tart berry-like aroma. Sour flavor with light alcohol. Moderate carbonation.
