COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We propose a toast to Nick and Bambi Venetucci. Over the six decades that they ran their family farm, they gave away literally millions of pumpkins to school children all across the Springs. Just before he died, Nick made plans to donate the farm to the Pikes Peak Community Foundation, that it might be preserved forever as a rich community resource. And, yes, so that hundreds of children wouldn't go empty-handed each fall. The Venetuccis taught us to give back. That's why 100% of the profits from this beer will go to support their farm. So enjoy this subtly spiced, malty treat. And here's to Nick and Bambi, and the great legacy of generosity.

Deep red-brown, light head formation. Rich, intense aroma of vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, general pumpkin pie. Complex and spicy without being overwhelming or raw like so many others. Flavor is sweet, malty and rich, approximately the same level of spice intensity. Slightly earthy, but not bitter finish. This is extremely well done and I see why this is so popular here in town, despite not usually being a big pumpkin beer fan myself.

Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of carmel, clove, allspice, cinnamon and light pumpkin. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, cove, allspice, cinnamon and light pumpkin with a smooth lingering spiced finish.

From a Venetucci Pumpkin Ale glass (really, just your basic brit pint glass with the ’VPA’ logo). A good friend said, "It’s like sticking your nose in a pumpkin’s ass." He wasn’t far off. The pumpkin dominates, but there is also spicy cinnamon and corriander and especially nutmeg. Maybe some vanilla in there. Not much head to speak of. Color is brown with hints of garnet. Mouthfeel is a slightly bitter to balance the sweet, medium to light bodied. Taste is the nose profile all over again. Best of the pumpkin bunch of ales and lagers that hit the shelves this time of year. This is almost more of an event than a release here locally.

Aroma on this beer is simply amazing. My nose was tickled with nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon and earthy raw pumpkin. As close as you can get to fresh pumpkin pie in the in a glass. Poured out clear deep red amber with about one finger off-white head. The taste was a subdued version of the aroma. Nothing is too overpowering or offensive, perhaps a touch light on the palate and hint too much nutmeg. Venetucci is an excellent pumpkin ale even for those who don’t really like pumpkin ales.

(2008) This is the only pumpkin ale I’ve ever tried, and it was very flavorful. The deep red ale had a thick head. The flavore was complex with pumpkin, spices, and honey. The hops of kent and saaz gave it a balanced taste and aroma. I would definitely have this brew again in October

I picked up a 22oz bottle when I went down to Bristol for the XXX Warlock release. Neat story behind this beer and the Venetucci pumpkins. The color was orange with a white head. The smell was spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie. The taste was nearly identical to the smell. Delicious for the style but it should be in 12oz bottles because one is enough. (2009 bottle from Weber St Liquor in Colorado Springs). Very dark brown/ruby color. Medium off white head. Strong nutmeg aroma. Overpowering nutmeg flavor, with very light pumpkin. Long duration. Smooth finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

bottle. A dark brown color with an orangish hue to it. A subtly sweet aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg, and vanilla. A nice thick mouthfeel with subtle earthy pumpkin, strong vanilla and mild nutmeg and other spices. A great beer for a worthy cause.

22oz bottle. Poured a deep amber color with a larger sized tan head. Aromas of vanilla cream soda, pumpkins, and spices. Tastes of pumpkins, vanilla soda, and various spices. I think this bottle is a little old, but it is still holding up nicely and was pleasantly ’different’ from other pumpkin beers.

Had this beer on 2/17/2007. Aroma is a rich scent of vanilla, nutmeg and pumpkin, this may be the most interesting scent I have seen in a beer. Color is a deep amber with light carbonation and a tight head. Taste is light and spicy. Starting with a light body it goes down light and crisp. Finish comes on spicy then fades to a creamy nutmeg flavor that reminds me of eggnog. This is an amazing beer and by far the best pumpkin I have ever had.
