| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2007 In the bottle. Thanks to Nick S. for the beer. Pours brownish black in color with a tan, slightly sepia-colored small head. Beer has an astringent finish on the sides of the tongue. Not a stout tart bitterness either. The mouth is good- thick palate, but not a dominant flavor to be found. This is surprisingly mild for a Bristol Brewing product. Mid way through the beer, I get a cane sugar sweetness. Why? I don’t know. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Very watery pour. Very little head on a dark brown body. Trace tan lacing. Roasted chocolate malt nose, with hints of coffee. Very dry and bitter ending, like a good coffee and a dark chocolate kiss. Thanks, enjoyed.
