Has a surprisingly "very smoky" aroma. A nice stout, slightly smoky, and w/out any coffee hints, Pleasant hop finish. Yummy.

I absolutely love winter Warlock, it is especially good when you get it at the brewery or a local restaurant on nitrous, drinks a lot easier, and won’t leave you full. A lot like a guinness.

BLACK BEAUTY with a chocolatey brown head... lace patterns lingered so much, my dishwasher began to cry. Rich and chewy malt just made my mouth water uncontrollably. Wonderful amount of hops complement the sweet, roasty malts. What a F'n awesome stout! Some qualities in it are reminiscent of Shakespeare Stout -- without the smoke or heavy burnt flavors. Rerate: I think last year's was much "thicker" than this year's. I still think this year's is really good, but it's not as good as I remember it.

This seasonal ale is very pleasing. It has a smooth body to it. It is balanced by a milky but sweet aftertaste.

My GOODNESS this is a great brew! From a bottle, this poured a pitch black with deep ruby red highlights around the edge. Head was dense, creamy and mocha-colored. Major initial coffee taste with a good chocolate overtone. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Very rich but not difficult to drink (especially on an empty stomach!). Simply marvelous.

Excellent brew. A color so dark that light almost couldnt get through. Aroma was great with some hints of chocolate. Taste also had the chocloate added to the oaty taste. Very good beer all around. Hopefull I will be having some more of this.

Carmel aroma. Rich, dark-brown color - almost syrupy looking. Small head. Hints of carmel and sweetness for taste; a very drinkable Stout. Smooth finish with a slighly bitter aftertaste - a tinge of coffee, perhaps. This could be one of my new favorite Stouts. I will buy this one again.

Rust head over black body. Huge espresso aroma and flavor. Extremely rich with a full palate. Terribly well made.
