bartlebier (1981) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - NOV 9, 2014
33cl bottle hauled by Hugi. Dusty wheat, sweetish coriander broth without that specific Wit-yeast vibrancy washing all mandatory ingredients away around a dull, soggy center. pleasant lemony notes in finish.

Bottle from R.Leclerc, Riberac. Poured a hazy yellow, with a dense white head. Aroma of soft fruit, yeast esters and bready malt. Copper in the flavour, with some grassy hop, but overall pretty light. Finish was biscuity malt, peaches and wheat.

330 ml bottle. B187/188F3. BB 31/05/15. From saveur-biere.com.
Cloudy yellow colour with a tiny white head. Yeast, wheat, citrus and cellar in the aroma. The flavour is yeast, wheat, mild citrus, mild bitterness and grainy dryness. Quite fizzy. Quite nice.

33cl bottle from a colleague. Hazy pale gold thin collar of white bubbles. Now I do like me a Belgian style Witbier. And this is perfect for me. Aperatif before a curry. It’s good. Tangerine and orange, some hop on the finish. Good.
