COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Translation: This top fermented beer, brewed with wheat and barley malts is not pasteurised. Its characteristic haze is caused by a partial filtration and a brewing process with double fermentation. It’s easily paired with white meat, fish or is tasted fresh as an apéritif. Its fruitiness comes from the orange peel and coriander. It has won a Gold at the first Concours Général Agricole for beer organised in France, in 2003, and a Silver in 2005.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2006 re-rate, bottled: Aroma is refreshing citrus with a hint of banana, nice hops. Cloudy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Light sweet, fruity, light bitter, hint of coreander, soft body. Probably one of the best French beers and one of the best Belgian White I ever had. Sep. 2001, 3.4: Very full wheatbeer. Sweet and then finishes a little bitter.

Yellow, golden colored brew. Yeasty, lemon in the aroma. Flavor has malts, some fruityness and yeast. Not that bad, but dull.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish, grain and citrus aroma. Flavour had some bready malts, orange fruit and yeasts, with a dryish, slightly spicy finish. Fine, if a bit light bodied.

A very accomplished Belgian style wit. Light spice, lemon and fairly big esters on the nose. Balanced flavour with esters and spice. Firm to medium body.
