COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Translation: This top fermented beer, brewed with wheat and barley malts is not pasteurised. Its characteristic haze is caused by a partial filtration and a brewing process with double fermentation. It’s easily paired with white meat, fish or is tasted fresh as an apéritif. Its fruitiness comes from the orange peel and coriander. It has won a Gold at the first Concours Général Agricole for beer organised in France, in 2003, and a Silver in 2005.

Yellow, golden colored brew. Yeasty, lemon in the aroma. Flavor has malts, some fruityness and yeast. Not that bad, but dull.

Marcius (194) - Geneva, SWITZERLAND - JUL 11, 2014
Appearance with yellow color, cloudy liquid medium foaming. Medium aroma of citrus and coriander. Flavor follows the aroma (citric). On the palate, acid, sour and a little bitter. An interesting Witbier, but it could have more body.

Moolesen (158) - NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2014
Bottle 33cl. Hazy yellow with almost no head. Nose: banana, a bit of orange and some sweet flavors. A reasonable wheat beer but not outstanding. Rather short finish.

Aroma of citrus and honey. Head shrinks after about half a minute. Flavour somewhat like a very weak mixture of dish soap and water.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlichem Schaum. Geruch leicht hefig, leicht fruchtig, Gewürze. Geschmack hefig würzig, leicht fruchtig.

Aromas of yeast, citrus and coriander. Color light yellow, quite foggy. Taste is refreshing with a quite long finish. I like it.

330ml bottle. Hazy light brown color. Banana, grainy, sweet, oranges in aroma. Minerals, chalky, dirty hops, malty taste.

330ml bottle
Bland stodgy wheaty aroma, not so pleasant. Pale, cloudy in the final pour, small off-white head. Pretty grungy taste, some rough yeastiness, saison feel to the grunge. Flat palate. Anna’s was clear, that had less grunge, was just a simple sweet wheatiness. Better, I guess (5:2:5:3:9=2.4) rather than (4:2:4:2:8=2.0). Finish bland.

For the style, it’s not all that great--the weird partially-filtered cloudiness, the very poor and rapidly dissipating head, and flat (i.e., carbonated at one point but clearly not anymore) character ensure that it’s at the lower end of the Belgian Whites for me

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small, but quite longlasting white head. Aroma is wheat, spices, yeast, herbs and some sweet maltiness to it. Flavour is floral, fruity, mild yeast, wheat and some herbs to it as well. Pleasantly balanced and a very refreshing kind of Blanche.
