Fruity taste, sugar, honey and lemon, alcohol quite sweet, some bitterness, surprising and very good.

Gold in colour and well carbonated. Floral and grassy hop aromas are there, as well as a bit of malt and a hint of sulfur. It has a nice clean bitterness and a slightly nutty flavor quality. There are some light malt and very mild fruit notes as well. It would make a great lawnmower beer. Thanks to Lubiere for this surprising sample.

Hazy blonde with a thick collapsing white head. Sweet light malt with a light orangey note. In mouth, good bready malt with a touch of pleasant cirus acidity and fruitiness and nice crisp hops in finish. Medium bodied. Bought in May 2004. Man, I’m surprised its still good!

Hazy yellow colour with a bubbly white head. Acidic aroma with notes of malt and hops. Flowery taste with hops and notes of fruit. Very drinkable.

Haz orange with a white head that dissapates quickly. Aromas are light mandarin and spices. Flavours are mellow and wheaty with citrus tang and yeast. Has a nice, gentle, fruity finish - especially apricot and pear. Pretty good.

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is very faint, what is there is spicy with coriander standing out. The flavor is spicy again with coriander being the most dominant on a sour background.

Slightly astringent and chalky yeast bows to tempestuous dry hay...Sweet malt vows to elevate the powdery herbs to the creamy and ample mouthfeel...A refreshing and eclectic blonde, probably brewed with a few different grains than barley...

Bottle-conditioned Hazy golden hue with a superb white head, huge and rocky. Apparently very high carbonation. Aroma is more expressive than I anticipated, there’s a gentle spicy (oregano, sage) and lightly floral hoppiness that accompanies the grainy malt aspect. Lemony, toasty, herbal, it could be a pilsner mixed with a spicy bière de garde. Palate is lightly crisp with high carbonation, very herbal/grassy with a pilsner-like dry bitterness in the finish. Moderate traces of buttery diacetyl. It’s not too good, but surpasses expectations.

Hmm, intriguing beer. Cloudy blonde color. Lemon aroma. Flavors of lemon and bitter herbs which I was never able to identify.

Cloudy wheat biere like appearance with a frothy long life head. A fairly thick aroma with a slight Belgian blonde feel, and a flavour that is a mixture of a wheat beer and Belgian blonde biere. Overall a really good French biere.
