Bottle - Cloudy red / brown. Moderate carbonation but no head - doesn’t look like a beer. Moderate aroma with no great taste. Bit sharp on tongue and fizz in mouth.

330ml bottle from a holidaying fried. Pours clear amber, thick off-white head. Aromas of smoky whisky, light yeasty-sherbet thing, light toffee. Taste is more smoke, toffee, wood-smoke notes. Light fruitiness on the aftertaste. Oily texture, fruitcake, marmalade and smoke on the finish. Bit of an odd combination, but decent.

Herber Nachgeschmack. 11/10/8/7/7/9

Golden/copper with fast vanishing head. Aroma is on whiskey malts, smokey, but fruity/sweet in the meantime. A little sourness, but rather sweet, lightly smokey. Nearly no bitterness. Soft carbo to flat. Unusual but interesting aromas. Sweetness, lack of carbonation and bitterness make it not very drinkable though.

33cl bottle at Kukeke, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel and malt with very mild hints of peat, hops and spices. A bit sweet, not too much flavour and a fairly light bitterness. Okay, nothing special, but drinkable enough.

Bottle from R.Leclerc, Riberac. Poured a hazy amber, with a dense, off-white head. Aroma of fruit, candy sugar and toffee. Grainy flavours, with some grass and whisky. Finish was cooked fruit, straw and raisins.

Bottle from a multipack from the brewer bought in a French Hyper-U. Opened with a fair explosion resulting in a bad pour with plenty of suspended particles. Otherwise amber with a thin layer of white froth. This beer has a lot of spiciness along with some peat and smoke notes. A little fruity too and a bit of aniseed on the finish. A bit thin, but OK.
