33 cl bottle from Bretagne, France. Poors an hazy orange nice color with a small creamy and foamy head. Aroma is smokey malts. Taste is fruit, whisky malts, quite syrupy and oily. The body could have been a bit stronger and full, because of its unsurprising ending. I like the smoke taste that comes in the beginning thought. This gives a pretty good beer, lighter than expected, and easily drinkable. Worth a try!

Bottle from somewhere in France. Poured a hazy medium amber with a round head with lots of bubbles. The aroma is light yeast, floral. The flavour is moderate sweet with a sweet malt, yeast, light spice palate. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle at home. Almost clear amber pour, thin white head. Aroma is smoked, some spices, caramel and a hint of peat. Flavor is quite bitter, slightly spicy and a bit of sweet sugary malts. Slightly messy. Decent body and nice smokyness.

Starker Torf und Rauch in der Nase. Im Geschmack milder und angenehmer, aber auch säuerlich. Im Abgang auch wieder Rauch und viel Torf. Nicht schlecht

Bottle - Cloudy red / brown. Moderate carbonation but no head - doesn’t look like a beer. Moderate aroma with no great taste. Bit sharp on tongue and fizz in mouth.

330ml bottle from a holidaying fried. Pours clear amber, thick off-white head. Aromas of smoky whisky, light yeasty-sherbet thing, light toffee. Taste is more smoke, toffee, wood-smoke notes. Light fruitiness on the aftertaste. Oily texture, fruitcake, marmalade and smoke on the finish. Bit of an odd combination, but decent.

Minimal rauchiger, trockener und wenig süßer Antrunk. Erhöhte Karbonisierung. Noch etwas süßer werdend, die Rauchigkeit verliert an Bedeutung. Herber Nachgeschmack. 11/10/8/7/7/9

Golden/copper with fast vanishing head. Aroma is on whiskey malts, smokey, but fruity/sweet in the meantime. A little sourness, but rather sweet, lightly smokey. Nearly no bitterness. Soft carbo to flat. Unusual but interesting aromas. Sweetness, lack of carbonation and bitterness make it not very drinkable though.

Jolie rouquine, très accessible, avec un malt bien présent, sans être agressive, assez bien dosée. Pack de bières bretonnes acheté en grande surface en France, première dégustation le 24/04/2012.
