2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Mid brown. Doesn’t smell of much. Grapefruit and perspex flavours dominate. The finish is like an old fashioned brown bitter. It’s okay.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from London Beer Lab. Hazy amber-brown with a large, craggy off-white head. Pleasant aroma of piney American hops with a little caramel. Caramel and pine continue on tasting with some lemon, jam, chocolate and a light roast. Spoilt a little by a rather metallic bitterness in the finish but nevertheless it’s ok overall.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Beautiful amber haze with slightly off-colour head. Caramel & cereal nose; light, musty hops. Bright and immediately hoppy with little malt body. Kind of a shame the taste doesn’t match the promising colour.
